About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support all IT Service-related topics on site
Administer site information systems and production-related Operations Technology (OT) systems with the local ITX Team
Support workplace equipment including PCs, tablets, MFPs, and iPhones
Support infrastructure and datacenter equipment including servers, storage, routers, switches, and IT/OT networks
Support SCADA and related systems
Support local programs, projects, and operations
Handle service requests, incidents, and problems
Ensure proper communication with related interfaces
Provide support during service failures or interruptions
Implement existing solutions and propose suitable improvements or new solutions
Support development of improved or new solutions with Competence Centers and local customers
Support local IT and OT projects
Ensure compliance with asset, license, and incident management processes and applicable policies
Handle, track, and escalate tickets for service and project tasks
Perform other IT operations duties as assigned or necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed education with a focus on computer science / business informatics & ITIL foundation or similar
Minimum two years of experience in IT and field service
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Systems such as Windows 11, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, and InTune/Entra ID
Basic understanding of OT Systems, OT Software, and supporting systems
Basic understanding of OSI layers and network principles
Basic technical understanding and strong ability to adopt the technical specialties of business processes supported by the IT and OT systems running at the plant
Ability to execute projects or tasks concurrently and meet agreed deadlines
Process-oriented and critical-thinking skillsets
Ability to type 40 wpm
Ability to work independently
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to learn and grow
