About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct one-on-one telehealth consultations, including initial and follow-up visits
- Assess dietary needs, build personalized nutrition plans, and monitor progress
- Support patients on GLP-1 therapy with nutrition strategies that protect lean mass and manage side effects
- Document patient interactions and recommendations in the EHR according to company standards
- Collaborate with NPs, PAs, and MDs for comprehensive care
- Contribute to patient education materials, including handouts and content
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active RDN credential issued by the U.S. Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) — required
- Must reside in the United States
- Strong knowledge of nutrition science, dietary guidelines, and weight management
- Experience supporting clients with weight loss
- Comfortable with telehealth platforms and EHR documentation
- Compassionate, strong communicator, dedicated to patient outcomes
- Experience with patients on GLP-1 medications (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro) preferred
- Experience with senior patient populations preferred
- Active state licensure in Texas, Florida, or New York is a plus; employer will help obtain others
