About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Call and follow up with prospective patients who have expressed interest in Shapely
- Educate prospective patients on Shapely's program, physician-led model, and GLP-1/GIP weight loss medications
- Explain insurance eligibility basics and general coverage considerations for weight loss medications
- Guide leads through enrollment and schedule initial appointments
- Manage the lead pipeline in the CRM, tracking follow-ups and conversion status
- Meet or exceed targets for outbound calls, conversions, and scheduled appointments
- Re-engage warm leads who have not yet enrolled and answer outstanding questions
- Partner with Prior Authorization and Concierge teams to ensure smooth patient handoffs
- Relay objections, questions, and friction points to leadership to refine messaging and processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in a sales, telesales, or outbound call role, with a track record of meeting conversion targets
- Comfortable educating prospects on insurance eligibility and medication coverage basics
- Persuasive, consultative communication style that builds trust quickly over the phone
- Resilient and self-motivated when working through a high-volume outbound pipeline
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or telehealth environment
- Technologically proficient; training provided on Zoom Phone, the CRM platform, and EHR
- Friendly and approachable with exceptional customer service skills
- Quick learner, able to grasp the nuances of the business
- Knowledge of HIPAA, PHI, and patient privacy; training provided
- Exceptional command of English, written and verbal
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to empathetically engage with patients
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Great team player
- Passion for health and wellness and commitment to Shapely's mission
- Ability to work in the Los Angeles time zone
