About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, engineer, and optimize enterprise IAM solutions aligned with zero-trust principles
  • Define IAM technical standards, frameworks, and implementation best practices
  • Lead development of custom IAM connectors, APIs, automation scripts, workflows, and RBAC processes
  • Write and maintain SailPoint Beanshell and Java rules, workflows, and scripts
  • Implement lifecycle management including provisioning, deprovisioning, transfers, and status changes
  • Develop and manage IGA integrations with on-site and cloud enterprise applications
  • Configure access certifications and evaluate IAM tools and technologies
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, documentation, and GitHub repository contributions
  • Deploy SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and SCIM authentication and authorization integrations
  • Integrate SSO, SailPoint, directories, HRIS systems, and cloud platforms
  • Develop automated user account management connectors and access request/approval processes
  • Ensure IAM solutions meet SOX and HIPAA requirements and enforce least privilege
  • Conduct access audits, monitoring, reporting, and provide evidence to auditors
  • Gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions with business and IT teams
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, resolve incidents, and respond to on-call issues
  • Document system designs, processes, workflows, configurations, and integrations
  • Mentor IAM System Developer I and IAM Analysts
  • Plan and execute project tasks, training, testing, change management, documentation, go-live, and support
  • Maintain certifications and knowledge of systems and applications
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years experience in IAM system development or related security-focused software development and administration
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, their IAM services and components
  • Experience interfacing with API endpoints for development and integration
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or 4 years of relevant information systems experience may substitute for the degree
  • Required Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) certification
  • Certified Identity and Security Technologist (CIST) certification required within 1 year of hire
  • Familiarity with healthcare environment
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, PowerShell, and JavaScript scripting/programming
  • Expertise with IAM platforms including SailPoint IdentityIQ, CyberArk NERM, Okta, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory
  • Strong background in SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SCIM, LDAPS, and PKI
  • Strong understanding of RBAC, ABAC, provisioning, certification, and role mining
  • Familiarity with SQL/Oracle databases
  • Ability to respond to on-call issues
  • CompTIA Security+ and CISSP preferred
