About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the controllership organization across General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, vendor/provider disbursements, Tax, and Treasury.
  • Manage through an established team of a director and managers across all three functions.
  • Own the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting and the monthly close process.
  • Prepare clean, audit-ready financials and support an upcoming external audit.
  • Partner with AR to reduce days sales outstanding.
  • Work with the product team to understand and resolve provider-side payment reliability issues.
  • Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial discipline.
  • Drive process improvement and automation using accounting systems and AI tools.
  • Partner with senior finance and revenue leadership to flag risks, solve problems, and support business decisions.
  • Develop team leaders.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • CPA required.
  • 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including meaningful senior leadership experience managing through directors/managers.
  • Deep technical accounting and US GAAP knowledge.
  • Hands-on operational experience owning financial reporting, close, controls, and audit for a full accounting function.
  • Genuine openness to using AI in accounting workflows.
  • Proven track record improving processes, controls, and systems at scale, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong ERP experience.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to partner effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; the application asks whether sponsorship or employment authorization will be required.
