About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the Banking Foundation roadmap across Ledger, Payment Rails, Financial Integrity & Operations, and Banking Enablement
Set area OKRs and connect them to banking tribe objectives
Balance market launches against long-term platform investments
Lead, develop, hire, and manage product teams and product managers
Run Payment Rails as product manager initially and hire a successor as the area grows
Sequence platform capacity across Cards, Money Movement, Lending, and Compliance
Defend prioritization decisions and communicate trade-offs, risks, and resourcing needs to leadership
Shape platform architecture with engineering, including build-versus-buy and provider selection decisions
Support delivery of Denmark and the Netherlands from the platform side
Track ledger correctness, reconciliation breaks, payment success, settlement times, platform availability, and developer delivery speed
Report to the SVP of Banking Product and participate in the banking product leadership team

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years in product experience
Several years of experience in payments, core banking, or financial infrastructure
Experience shipping products where errors have financial consequences
Experience managing product managers
Experience hiring at least one person
Technical knowledge of double-entry ledgers, settlement, reconciliation, SEPA, and SWIFT
Experience working in a regulated environment
Ability to make decisions with incomplete data and communicate confidence levels
Ability to balance near-term market launches with long-term platform development
AI fluency and experience using AI tooling
Fluent written and spoken English
