About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist Account Executives and Managers with support of ongoing business sales and hotel relationships
  • Review and manage hotel proposals and negotiations
  • Build strong, productive relationships with hotel vendors and hotel sales managers
  • Ensure prompt receipt of proposals and bids
  • Participate in cross-training and assist with tasks outside the typical position scope for the benefit of clients or the company
  • Support STM-Stay’s hotel department and ongoing client and vendor relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with hospitality, hotel customer service and hotel management desired but not required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with ability to focus on goals without constant direct leadership
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Salesforce or Cvent desired but not required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. through the employer’s E-Verify process
