About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage on-time and quality execution of each season
- Manage sample management from concept to approved shipment sample for Showpo
- Manage supplier relationships across cost price negotiations, sourcing and product development
- Maintain the critical path with key stakeholders to deliver monthly ranges
- Manage the team of dedicated garment technicians
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the Design team according to the Critical Path
- Control the design workflow from post-design sign-off to shipment sample
- Ensure newness, commerciality and workable construction of fabrications
- Ensure a cohesive and balanced RRP collection is presented at the buy
- Ensure collections achieve target margins
- Improve fit metrics of all designers
- Provide quality control over design outputs and production
- Perform new fabric sign-off and core fabric sign-off
- Preview fit rail
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fashion experience with an own design/private label element
- A keen eye for quality
- Internal and external relationship-building experience with an understanding of the design execution process
- Dynamic leadership focused on team cohesion and people development
- A positive and inspiring influence on the team and more broadly
