About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, code, test, debug, and document platform-independent GUI application software for Windows, OS X, and Linux
- Support activities for the corporate systems architecture
- Work with business partners to define requirements for system applications
- Develop, enhance, modify, and maintain applications
- Use agile software development methodologies
- Design and implement GUI application software controlling and managing audio products and networking technologies
- Collaborate with marketing, test, and system engineering to define use cases and requirements
- Develop GUI application software using TypeScript and Angular
- Communicate with technology and business stakeholders
- Research new GUI application software technologies and IDEs
- Assist with integrating technologies into company software development processes
- Work on high-priority deliverables as part of a high-performance team
- Estimate, organize, and document tasks
- Solve real problems and add value to the business
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Development experience with Javascript and Typescript
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular, preferably with Angular
- Experience applying software design principles such as separation of concerns, high cohesion, and low coupling
- Experience with software development tools (IDEs)
- Experience with software version control and release, preferably with git
- Understanding of industry practices and/or company policies and procedures
- Ability to work on problems of diverse scope requiring analysis of data or situations
- Good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for difficult assignments
- Understanding of operating system fundamentals
- User interface development for application software is a plus
- Understanding of software development processes such as continuous testing and continuous integration
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
