About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage with Associates from the Global Quality Division to understand quality engineering processes and related data systems
- Identify quality data needs, assess potential solutions, and drive execution and implementation
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable data engineering, reporting, automation, and AI solutions
- Conduct research and analysis to identify continuous improvement opportunities through automation, workflow modernization, data architecture, system integration, and digital transformation
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and optimization of data pipelines, integrations, databases, dashboards, analytics platforms, and cloud technologies
- Resolve quality data engineering service requests and ensure timely disposition
- Develop, maintain, and govern best practices for data collection, storage, management, security, accessibility, reporting, compliance, and lifecycle management
- Improve Quality’s foundational systems, procedures, standards, governance frameworks, and digital capabilities
- Provide training, guidance, technical support, and administrative services for global quality systems and databases
- Lead the design, architecture, and deployment of AI-enabled solutions
- Develop intelligent agents, copilots, and AI-integrated business applications using Microsoft Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Power Platform
- Establish AI standards, mentor teams, and drive adoption of AI solutions
- Serve as Quality Division’s point of contact with IT for data initiatives, process enhancements, metrics reporting, and corporate data projects
- Administer and maintain systems with outside software providers and lead implementation of new solutions
- Analyze quality data to identify process and product opportunities and validate improvement effectiveness
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or other closely related bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience using data analysis, data engineering and quality tools or equivalent advanced degree
- Technical proficiency with Python, SQL, and Excel VBA is strongly preferred
- Advanced experience designing and deploying AI-enabled applications, copilots, agents, and intelligent automation solutions
- Demonstrated technical leadership in establishing AI best practices, mentoring engineering teams, and driving enterprise-wide AI adoption
- Experience using SAP S4HANA, Microsoft Power Platform (specifically PowerApps and Power Automate), Microsoft Excel (advanced), Tableau, and Minitab
- Experience with AWS Data Lake, Snowflake, Informatica, Reliance EtQ, and SharePoint Online is a plus
- Familiarity with RCCA, FMEA, SPC, and PPAP is desirable
- Very strong data analysis skills
- Ability to detect changes and trends and determine their importance
- Ability to work on problems of diverse scope requiring evaluation of identifiable factors
- Good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for difficult and diverse assignments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers to resolve technical issues and offer effective solutions
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
