About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in leading Shure's enterprise sustainability strategy and ESG programs
  • Translate sustainability priorities into measurable actions supporting business objectives, regulatory readiness, and long-term value creation
  • Drive sustainability performance measurement, reporting, and data governance
  • Deliver insights and disclosures that strengthen transparency, accountability, and decision-making
  • Establish governance frameworks for credible, compliant, evidence-based sustainability claims, communications, and disclosures
  • Partner across Operations, Product, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Finance, and Communications to embed sustainability into business processes, products, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Build organizational capability through stakeholder engagement, training, and sustainability communications
  • Monitor emerging sustainability trends and benchmark best practices
  • Identify opportunities to enhance Shure's environmental performance and sustainability maturity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Engineering, Communications, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG, environmental management, corporate responsibility, enterprise program management, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional projects or programs, including stakeholder alignment, risk management, and execution oversight
  • Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting standards, environmental regulations, and evolving compliance requirements
  • Experience developing sustainability KPIs, managing data quality, preparing reports, and translating insights into meaningful business recommendations
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across Operations, Product, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Legal, Finance, and Data teams
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, project management, and reporting tools
  • Experience with sustainability reporting platforms is a plus
  • Experience developing governance processes, procedures, and scalable practices within a global organization
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to balance sustainability ambitions with regulatory requirements, credible evidence, business objectives, and practical execution
