About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and mentor engineering teams through technical leads and senior engineers
- Drive engineering strategy, architecture, scalability, reliability, and delivery
- Partner with Product and business teams on priorities, roadmaps, and trade-offs
- Strengthen engineering processes, quality, security, and operational excellence
- Support cloud infrastructure, platform performance, and cost optimization
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation across engineering workflows
- Build a strong culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across Product, Business, Data, and Technology to translate business priorities into strong engineering outcomes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8-12 years of overall engineering experience
- Strong experience managing and growing engineering teams
- Hands-on understanding of system design, cloud-native architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Experience working in fast-paced startups, scale-ups, or product-led environments
- Ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities and delivery
- Prior experience in fintech, financial services, payments, trading, lending, insurance, or other regulated environments is highly preferred.
