About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and define the community strategy, including its audience, member value, and growth model
  • Build and operate a scalable home for highly engaged users
  • Enable members to organize events and meetups through self-service kits
  • Collaborate with social, brand, and creative teams to amplify community-created content
  • Drive adoption in new markets through community-led outreach

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Genuine, personal interest in this category
  • 5+ years in community, social, developer relations, or creator programs
  • Experience with at least one consumer product at real scale
  • Experience building at least one ambassador or superuser program from scratch
  • Experience operating an online community beyond manual moderation, including bots, automation, roles, and escalation paths
  • Strong writing with a distinct voice
  • Ability to read a room and use humor effectively in public communications
  • Comfort working with an organically evolving community
  • Ability to translate participation data and qualitative signals into actionable product insights
  • Knowledge of metrics demonstrating community-driven growth
  • Track record of building trust as a core part of the community experience
  • Nice to have: experience designing early access or beta programs, building community internationally, or working with a product centered on a character or distinct persona
