About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete the design, implementation, integration, testing and commissioning activities of PLC-based software for Plant Management and Control Systems (PMCS)
- Review and analyze technical requirements
- Develop system functional design documentation
- Design and develop PLC software/hardware components
- Implement, configure, test and commission systems
- Develop, review and update design documents, including drawings
- Liaise with clients and third-party vendors on design and construction matters
- Provide feedback or requests for information to the designer
- Review vendors’ specifications, technical information and datasheets
- Support team leaders in estimating task effort and duration
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and on schedule
Requirements
What you’ll need- Formal qualifications in engineering, Bachelor Degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation, Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronics, or similar field of engineering or equivalent experience
- Over 3 years of experience in the design, development, integration, testing and commissioning of SCADA software and PLC-based automation and control systems.
- Previous experience in ITS/Tunnel projects (desirable).
- Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA or DCS technologies – Rockwell (Allen Bradley) or Siemens preferable.
- Strong PLC Programming skills (e.g. Ladder, STL, Function Blocks)
- Experience with AI tools, AI-assisted workflows, or simple agent-based solutions would be highly desirable
- Office Tools: Word, Excel, Visio, etc.
