Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience
  • Expert proficiency with systems modeling and simulation tools
  • Proven leadership experience in systems engineering
  • Demonstrated knowledge of multiple engineering principles and practices
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
  • Thorough understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design; systems integration; technical risk identification and management strategies; and V&V principles
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Secret security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship status required for employment
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems and embedded systems preferred
  • Advanced experience with DOORS, Cameo, MATLAB preferred
  • Knowledge of industry-standard mechanical design principles and MBSE preferred
  • INCOSE/CSEP experience or certification preferred
  • Aerospace and defense industry background preferred
  • Experience leading baseline definition and maturation, trade studies, TPMs, subcontractor/supplier efforts, and high-profile test events preferred
  • Agile methodologies and Scrum Master certification preferred
  • Missile development experience preferred
  • Hardware environmental requirement development or testing experience preferred
  • Experience in RF/IR sensor design and test, Hardware-in-the-Loop, or embedded system integration and test preferred
  • Experience with range safety/FTS concepts and missile command/launch interfaces preferred
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods
  • Hand/finger dexterity for system modeling and documentation
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel
