Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience
  • Advanced proficiency with systems modeling and simulation tools
  • Practical knowledge of multiple engineering principles and practices
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
  • Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation
  • Knowledge of systems design and systems integration
  • Knowledge of technical risk identification and management strategies
  • Knowledge of V&V principles
  • Ability to obtain and maintain United States Secret security clearance
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems and embedded systems
  • Background in Aerospace and Defense industry
  • Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such as DOORS, Cameo, MATLAB
  • Practical knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles, including requirements management and MBSE
  • Experience or certification in INCOSE standards (ASEP/CSEP)
  • Ability to administer baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting
  • Experience with high impact trade studies
  • Exposure to establishing and tracking Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)
  • Agile methodologies and Scrum Master certification
  • Missile development experience
  • Experience with CONOP/CONEMP development
  • Environmental requirement development or testing experience
  • Familiarity with RF sensor design and test, IR sensor design and test, Hardware-in-the-Loop, or embedded system integration and test
  • Familiarity with range safety/FTS concepts
  • Experience with missile command and launch interfaces and systems, including MIL-STD-1553/1760/UAI/CFWICD
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods
  • Hand/finger dexterity for system modeling and documentation
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required for employment due to the Secret U.S. Security Clearance requirement
