About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support FP&A leadership, the Business Operations team, and the CFO
  • Provide analytics, reporting, oversight of financials, and performance measurements across the company
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans
  • Work cross-functionally across the company
  • Transform complex financial data into actionable insights supporting strategic objectives
  • Collect data from several sources and perform analysis
  • Communicate data and findings effectively
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
  • Typically 1+ years of related experience
  • Experience with management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative or analytical roles in business, program, or operations management
  • Experience in a finance-related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Schedule Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, or Procurement Financial Analysis
  • Experience collecting data from several sources, performing analysis, and communicating data
  • Experience with advanced features in Excel, including Pivot Tables and Vlookups
  • Strong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State or Department of Commerce authorizations
  • Preferred: hands-on experience in financial operations, cost management, accounting, or contract financial analysis
  • Preferred: demonstrated ability to collect and analyze data from multiple sources and communicate findings effectively
  • Preferred: advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas
  • Preferred: CPA, CFA, or FP&A certification
  • Preferred: proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
  • Preferred: strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Preferred: excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Preferred: ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Preferred: familiarity with financial planning and analysis best practices
  • Preferred: experience preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management
  • Preferred: knowledge of DoD, government contracting, and/or public auditing policies, labor rate composition
