About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead establishment and maintenance of the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for highly complex projects
- Perform in-depth critical path and variance analysis
- Prepare executive-level reports and briefings for program leadership, senior management, and stakeholders
- Lead preparation of schedules for all contract work
- Lead and conduct Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) to identify and mitigate schedule risks
- Incorporate contractual changes into the IMS following baseline change guidelines
- Ensure schedules are realistic, achievable, and aligned with contractual requirements
- Conduct Rolling Wave Planning
- Interact with program stakeholders and customer Subject Matter Experts (SME)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for schedule planning
- Use data analysis tools for detailed schedule analysis
- Provide actionable insights to support decision-making and schedule commitments
- Lead and mentor team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree, or Master's degree plus 10 years of experience
- Typically 12+ years of related experience
- Recent experience leading teams both formally and informally
- Experience delivering executive-level presentations and briefings
- Experience with schedule management, management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative or analytical roles in business, program, or operations management
- Ability to conduct Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA)
- Proficiency in scheduling software and data analysis tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
- Experience preparing and presenting schedule reports to senior management
- Demonstrated use of Master/Subproject Integrated Master Schedules
- Demonstrated interaction with key program stakeholders and customer Subject Matter Experts (SME)
- Experience supporting Earned Value (EV) Programs
- Demonstrated knowledge of DCMA Scheduling best practices and compliance
- Experience collecting data from several sources, performing analysis, and communicating data
- Experience with advanced features in Excel, including Pivot Tables and Vlookups
- Strong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools
- Knowledge of DoD, government contracting, and/or public auditing policies and labor rate composition
- Preferred: advanced degree in Industrial Engineering, finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
- Preferred: PMP or similar certification
