About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and/or support the establishment and maintenance of the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Perform detailed schedule analysis and prepare reports for program leadership
- Prepare schedules for all contract work
- Conduct critical path analysis, variance analysis, and Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) as required
- Incorporate contractual changes into the IMS following baseline change guidelines
- Ensure schedules align with contractual requirements and program objectives
- Identify schedule risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for schedule planning
- Use data analysis tools to perform detailed schedule analysis
- Present schedule reports and actionable insights to stakeholders
- Maintain realistic contract schedule baselines and schedule transparency
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree, or Master's degree plus 3 years of experience
- Typically 5+ years of related experience
- Experience with Schedule Management, Industrial Engineering, management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative or analytical roles in business, program, or operations management
- Proficiency in scheduling software and data analysis tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
- Experience preparing and presenting schedule reports to senior management
- Experience collecting data from several sources, performing analysis, and communicating data
- Experience with advanced Excel features, including Pivot Tables and Vlookups
- Strong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools
- Knowledge of DCMA compliance, schedule development, and management best practices
- Understanding of Master/Subproject Integrated Master Schedules
- Advanced degree in Industrial Engineering, finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
- PMP or similar certification (preferred)
- Ability to conduct Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) (preferred)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project Web Access (PWA) (preferred)
- Experience with Earned Value (EV) program support (preferred)
