About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in the analysis and development of thermal systems for aerospace applications
- Apply aerospace principles, standards, theories, first-order analysis, and concepts to technical initiatives
- Help develop solutions to routine technical problems under senior engineer supervision
- Prepare and document technical data, reports, and presentations
- Communicate technical concepts and information verbally and in writing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Participate in team meetings, technical reviews, and brainstorming sessions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
- Entry-level with 0–2 years of experience
- Basic understanding of thermal analysis
- Limited use and application of aerospace principles, standards, theories, first-order analysis, and concepts
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from senior engineers
- Clear verbal and written communication of technical concepts and information
- Preferred: experience with Thermal Desktop, SINDA/FLUINT, ANSYS, or COMSOL
- Preferred: proficiency in Python or MATLAB for thermal analysis and post-processing
- Preferred: strong organizational, teamwork, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Preferred: eagerness to learn and commitment to continuous professional development
