About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting at customer sites
- Prepare technical reports and documentation regarding customer claims and submit them to responsible departments
- Provide technical support to customer personnel regarding equipment and operational issues
- Support the Service Account Manager with technical consulting and guidance to customers
- Prepare technical service reports
- Lead on-site personnel when required
- Install filling lines when required
- Implement equipment modifications and upgrades according to the assigned scope of work
- Work in accordance with GMP to ensure production of safe packaging and participate in assigned quality procedures
- Act proactively and sustainably to minimize liquid, solid, and atmospheric waste in accordance with ISO 14001 and Mexican environmental regulations
- Ensure employee safety by adhering to ISO 45001:2018 and Mexican safety regulations and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required
- A minimum of 3 years of previous industry experience and/or 2 years in a similar position is preferred
- Good command of English
- English proficiency required to report or escalate issues to teams in the United States and Germany
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) required for reporting and documentation purposes
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System requirements and applicable Mexican environmental regulations
- Knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and Mexican regulations and procedures
- Willingness to achieve results under challenging circumstances
- Ability to build customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions
- Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively
