About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Actively manage customer orders or customer demand planning in SAP
  • Check plausibility and align with customers regarding actual demand, including volume and timing
  • Check plan orders during daily routines
  • Reconcile confirmed orders with production and delivery dates
  • Coordinate and align solutions with customers and material planning when discrepancies occur
  • Run the escalation process when no agreement can be found
  • Provide date and order confirmations to customers
  • Track and create order-on-hand lists
  • Control customer specifications for production
  • Analyze disposition parameters per customer
  • Coordinate order releases with the dispatch department
  • Track inventory and cylinders and discuss issues with customers when required
  • Serve as interface for sales, quality, dispatch, material planning, and demand planning at plant sites
  • Participate in process improvement procedures
  • Actively engage in career path development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-3 years of experience in order management
  • Commercial or financial degree
  • Advanced level of English (C2)
  • Advanced level of German (C1)
  • SAP knowledge
  • Microsoft Office package knowledge
  • Ability to consistently achieve results under tough circumstances
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively
  • Ability to apply business and marketplace knowledge to advance organizational goals
  • Ability to create new and better ways for the organization to be successful
