About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define the strategic vision for servers, storage, networking, and cloud infrastructure
- Align infrastructure strategy with business objectives
- Drive business continuity, disaster recovery, cloud, virtualization, automation, and technical-debt modernization initiatives
- Plan and manage infrastructure investment budgets
- Oversee vendor relationships, partner ecosystems, contract negotiations, risk management, and performance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, security requirements, and internal governance policies
- Collaborate on new facility construction projects and support international expansion plans
- Lead enterprise-wide infrastructure teams, including Managers and Sr. Managers
- Collaborate with senior leadership across Information Security, Facilities, Security, Finance, and Operations
- Make decisions on technology investments, vendor selection, and infrastructure priorities
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement
- Lead teams in solving complex infrastructure problems and adopting improvement processes
- Develop leadership talent, succession planning, and executive readiness
- Coach and mentor team members while setting priorities and success metrics
- Oversee complex infrastructure challenges and long-term stability through strategic planning
- Ensure rigorous, actionable root-cause analyses and measurable reliability improvements
- Participate in 5S Workplace organizational activities and maintain personal and shared department spaces
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Master’s degree is preferred
- 15+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure operations
- 7 years of increasing managerial experience in an IT leadership role required
- Leadership experience guiding Sr. Managers and corporate-wide infrastructure teams
- Experience defining infrastructure strategy, modernization initiatives, cloud adoption, and global scalability solutions
- Ability to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas verbally and in writing
- Relationship-building skills and strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and empathetic style
- Expertise managing multi-million-dollar budgets and aligning spending with business objectives
- Expertise guiding cross-functional teams and resolving organizational conflicts
- Experience directing enterprise-level projects, including data center migrations and global infrastructure deployments
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work at a computer using a keyboard and mouse
- Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, twist, and lift/move files
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must wear required PPE where required
- Must comply with work exposure EH&S training requirements and SIG SAUER security mandates
- Must follow required Safety and ISO procedures
