About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as overall owner of assigned pursuits from RFP release through award
  • Partner with Business Development to define win strategy, market positioning, pricing approach, and differentiation
  • Manage pursuit schedule, budget, resourcing, and deliverables
  • Review RFPs, exhibits, and draft contracts for scope, commercial and technical requirements, and schedule milestones
  • Identify, document, communicate, and mitigate commercial, constructability, supply chain, logistics, and schedule risks
  • Facilitate internal risk reviews and align mitigation strategies across teams
  • Support clarifications, assumptions, and exceptions
  • Coordinate Engineering, Estimating, Scheduling, Preconstruction, Procurement, and Operations input
  • Ensure scope alignment, cost accuracy, schedule credibility, and constructability considerations
  • Drive alignment between technical solutions and commercial strategy
  • Own proposal deliverables for compliance, quality, and on-time submission
  • Manage internal and external deadlines, including clarifications and BAFO rounds
  • Support client presentations, interviews, and negotiations
  • Lead the formal post-award handoff to Preconstruction
  • Support contract negotiations to preserve bid intent and risk posture through execution of the Owner agreement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field
  • Strong understanding of EPC contracts and risk allocation
  • Experience leading complex proposals or pursuits in construction or energy infrastructure
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Utility-scale solar experience preferred
  • Must comply with the interview policy prohibiting AI note-takers, recording devices, and real-time transcription software
  • Must be eligible to work under the employer's E-Verify requirements
