About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Process data changes upon request in collaboration with Client Services staff
Deliver data transfers and client-requested database transfer datasets
Execute data changes using backend database scripts or validated in-house Data Solution Tools
Create and execute Data Change Guides and corresponding risk/impact assessments
Create DTS packages for imports into study databases
Write and execute SQL queries against MS SQL Database for data transfers and reports
Execute SAS queries against MS SQL Database when needed
Participate in study implementation and maintenance meetings with Client Services and Technical Delivery teams
Follow Standard Operating Procedures for data change management, data transfer verification, and risk/impact documentation
Create stored procedures to manipulate data for data-driven IXR system changes when needed
Monitor data across multiple databases
Verify data change requests and client-requested transfer datasets when required
Perform data entry of data change requests as needed
Provide technical support during required after-hours on-call intervals
Participate in special data-related projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

2–4 years of experience working in a data-driven environment
In-depth working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office applications
Experience with standard data mining and data presentation techniques
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment with minimal direct supervision
Excellent written communication skills, including ability to document procedures, processes, and results
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced work environment
Very strong skills with Microsoft Office applications
Comfortable working with business users and technical teams
Ability to create and execute SQL queries is required
Familiarity with C# programming language is a plus
Working knowledge of Visual Basic is a plus
Familiarity with GCP and 21 CFR Part 11 is a plus
