About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead Signant Health's global accounting and controllership function
Own the integrity of financial reporting across all entities and geographies
Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across all entities
Ensure timely and accurate consolidated financial statements
Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and technical accounting positions under US GAAP and IFRS
Oversee statutory reporting and audit coordination across multiple jurisdictions
Oversee local controllership teams and partnerships with external auditors and tax advisors
Serve as executive owner for NetSuite and OneStream
Drive system optimization, workflow automation, and data integrity across financial processes
Partner with IT and FP&A on financial systems integration
Lead the controllership team's use of AI and continuous improvement
Manage multi-currency consolidation, transfer pricing coordination, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency translation/remeasurement
Ensure consistent accounting policy application across international entities
Lead global tax and treasury teams with global legal teams on cross-border structuring, entity rationalization, and compliance
Provide leadership to the Global Tax Director and oversee the global tax function
Coordinate income tax provision preparation and review under ASC 740
Manage multinational tax risk, including permanent establishment, withholding tax, and indirect tax compliance
Partner with external tax counsel and advisors on tax planning, restructuring, and M&A tax due diligence/integration
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing global accounting team, including outsourced providers
Partner with the CFO and senior leadership on financial strategy, M&A integration, and business decision support
Present consolidated financial results and controllership updates to executive leadership and the Board/investors

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
15+ years of progressive accounting/controllership experience
Significant experience in a multinational company with multi-entity, multi-currency operations
Deep understanding of project-based accounting and financials
Strong technical US GAAP knowledge
Hands-on experience implementing, optimizing, or administering NetSuite as the core ERP
Direct experience with OneStream or comparable consolidation/EPM platforms such as Hyperion or Oracle EPM
Working knowledge of corporate income tax, transfer pricing, and indirect tax requirements in a multinational context
Experience managing outsourced tax and audit relationships across multiple jurisdictions
Proven track record managing global teams and driving process improvement through systems and automation
Tech-savvy and eager to leverage AI and automation to enhance efficiency and decision-making
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex accounting matters for non-finance executives
Board-ready communication and executive presence
