About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build and maintain microservices at the core of Signicat’s MobileID and Digital Identity Wallet solutions
  • Own services end to end, from code and tests through deployment, monitoring and production operation
  • Work on the delivery platform alongside the team
  • Strengthen solution security through threat modelling, current standards, authentication protocols and key handling
  • Participate in architecture decisions and technical discussions within the team and across client and service teams
  • Build and scale secure, reliable services supporting authentication, identity verification, payment confirmations and digital credential issuance across Europe

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience with Java and/or Kotlin
  • Comfortable working with Spring or a comparable JVM framework
  • Experience designing REST APIs used by other teams
  • Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS or Google
  • Real experience running services on Kubernetes
  • Hands-on knowledge of relational databases, ideally MySQL; PostgreSQL or other relational databases also relevant
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools and integrating them into everyday work
  • Strong English proficiency, both written and spoken
  • Bonus: Experience with Helm, ArgoCD or other GitOps tooling
  • Bonus: Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code
  • Bonus: OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect in production
  • Bonus: Cryptography, key management or HSMs
  • Bonus: Mobile authentication, biometrics or device attestation
  • Bonus: Regulated environments such as PSD2, strong customer authentication or eIDAS
