About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in preparing legal opinions and memoranda on the interpretation of federal, state, and municipal tax legislation
- Analyze the tax implications of corporate and business transactions, including due diligence, reorganizations, and tax planning
- Assist with tax consultations and tax compliance matters, including risk mapping, procedure reviews, and ancillary tax obligations
- Provide occasional support on strategic litigation matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Knowledge of federal, state, and municipal tax legislation
- Completed postgraduate degree
- Knowledge of accounting
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach
- Experience at a Big Four firm is considered a plus
