About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Obtain complete, accurate and relevant patient data for registration for the Emergency Department population
- Complete patient insurance verification
- Collect copayments
- Work afternoon shifts of 2p-1030p or 3p-1130p
- Work Monday through Friday with weekend rotation
- Rotate between New Lenox and Homer Glen Emergency Departments
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school graduate or equivalent
- Basic computer knowledge required
- Ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously
- Cerner experience preferred
- Previous healthcare experience preferred
- Excellent phone and customer service experience required
- Weekend rotation required
- Rotation between New Lenox and Homer Glen Emergency Departments required
