About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide home help services including general housekeeping and making beds
Clean, mop and vacuum floors
Wash, fold and iron laundry
Prepare meals and complete grocery shopping
Help clients get out of bed, shower and dress
Assist clients with medications
Assist with mobility and therapy goals
Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
Provide social and emotional support
Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments
Give family carers a break
Work independently and find solutions to everyday problems
Ask the manager for help when needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3 months’ experience in a similar professional role
Experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications
Valid Australian Driver's Licence
Own insured, roadworthy vehicle
USI# required
Successful candidates must complete a Statutory Declaration
National Police check required
Working Rights check required
Pre-employment functional assessment required
