About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide aged care clients with home help services
  • Perform general housekeeping and make beds
  • Clean, mop, and vacuum floors
  • Wash, fold, and iron laundry
  • Prepare meals and complete grocery shopping
  • Assist older community members to maintain their homes and live independently
  • Work across the Brisbane North area, including Albany Creek, Chermside, Eagle Farm, and Stafford
  • Complete a short online assessment from Vervoe during the application process

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Entry level; no experience required
  • Keen interest in aged care
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
  • Own insured, roadworthy vehicle
  • Must complete a National Police check prior to commencement
  • Must complete a Work Rights check prior to commencement
  • Must confirm COVID-19 vaccination status prior to commencement
  • Comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families
  • Passion for providing excellent service
