Key responsibilities & impact

Support day-to-day accounting operations
Create financial visibility and optimize key systems to support business performance
Prepare monthly management reporting and deliver insights on financial performance
Manage research and development incentive applications
Collaborate with the data warehouse engineering team on reporting outputs
Partner with the Finance Manager on annual operating budgets
Develop rolling financial forecasts
Model sales pipeline conversion
Develop business case analyses for growth opportunities
Perform month-end close processes
Complete balance sheet reconciliations
Manage cash
Support payroll compliance
Assist with statutory annual preparations
Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives across finance tools
Maintain financial frameworks
Champion AI and automation to improve operational efficiency
Partner with the Senior Leadership Team, Engine Room, and vendor partners
Report to the Chief Financial Officer

What you’ll need

CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent professional accounting credential)
Minimum 3 years of finance experience
3+ years in a finance or management accounting role
Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles
Hands-on experience with core accounting and reporting systems, such as Xero, WorkflowMax, or Spotlight Reporting
Exposure to or strong interest in financial modeling, commercial analysis, and cost modeling
Ability to manage competing priorities under deadline pressure
Ability to work independently
Ability to maintain a high standard of financial governance
Ability to maintain high data integrity
Ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-finance individuals
Ability to justify and implement change
Ability to balance big-picture thinking with a hands-on approach
