About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own production pipelines end-to-end, including design, development, monitoring, alerting, and iterative improvement
- Scope and deliver analytical features by shaping raw data into analytical models using Kimball Dimensional modeling with dbt
- Drive cross-functional delivery by identifying blockers, aligning stakeholders, and moving projects forward
- Use LLMs, agents, and other AI-assisted workflows to accelerate analysis and development
- Translate retail data, including inventory, on-shelf availability, and task execution signals, into business outcomes
- Establish best practices for reproducibility, documentation, and code quality
- Design and prototype conversational AI agent or chatbot interfaces for querying retail data through natural language
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering or a closely related role, with demonstrable delivery of production features
- Experience with dbt for data transformation and Kimball Dimensional modeling, including writing models, tests, and documentation
- Solid SQL skills
- Experience with large-scale cloud data platforms, with GCP/BigQuery preferred
- Experience owning the full lifecycle of analytics features: scoping, building, shipping, and maintaining
- Proven ability to work across functions and drive alignment
- Retail industry experience strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience using AI tools, including LLM APIs, coding assistants, and prompt engineering
- Familiarity with pipeline orchestration such as Airflow, model monitoring, and CI/CD for analytical workflows preferred
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau preferred
