About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify key functionality adoption gaps compared to industry benchmarks
  • Collaborate with business units to increase adoption of digital banking functionality
  • Work with Retail banking to identify barriers to adoption and develop ways to make adoption easier
  • Identify reasons for low digital adoption and design remediation strategies
  • Track Digital Banking services adoption KPIs and report on them
  • Develop specialized product knowledge and serve as the product subject matter expert
  • Communicate product vision, business objectives, and technology objectives to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with designers, business analysts, developers, testers, and business stakeholders to execute the product roadmap and release plan
  • Own, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, including epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Break down epics into detailed, consumable, and testable user stories
  • Align the product roadmap to strategic roadmaps and objectives
  • Engage stakeholders to document requirements, pain points, hidden needs, and expected outcomes
  • Assess defect impact and prioritize fixes with development teams and partners
  • Partner with the User Experience Manager and use the Simmons UX Testing Lab for user design and usability testing
  • Assist training and customer support teams with training content and communications
  • Participate in planning activities and partner with Product Owners to align related digital banking capabilities and platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst
  • 5 years of experience within the banking or Fintech industry
  • Experience with digital banking adoption strategy and execution
  • Experience working with and leading cross-organizational teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and ability to effectively present information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and high technical aptitude with ability to absorb and synthesize information
  • Prior experience working with digital banking vendors and core bank processors preferred
  • Knowledge of Jack Henry’s Banno digital banking highly desirable
