About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise financial sponsors, management teams, and portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle
  • Work on private equity investments, buyouts, exits, platform and bolt-on acquisitions, and management incentive arrangements
  • Advise on acquisitions, disposals, platform investments, add-on transactions, and broader strategic corporate matters
  • Handle complex, high-value, and often international transactions
  • Work closely with clients and colleagues across the UK and international offices
  • Develop long-term relationships with sponsors, management teams, and intermediaries
  • Contribute to the growth of the private equity practice

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Qualified lawyer
  • 3–5 years' PQE
  • Strong experience advising on private equity transactions
  • Experience acting for financial sponsors, management teams and/or portfolio companies on acquisitions, disposals and investment transactions
  • Strong technical, commercial, and drafting skills
  • Ability to deliver pragmatic advice in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Collaborative approach
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines
