About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently handle motor vehicle and personal injury claims across all liability areas
- Investigate and assess the facts of each case and provide customers with proactive, situation-appropriate support
- Assess and explain coverage and liability issues in a clear, audience-appropriate manner
- Determine fair and accurate compensation payments
- Reliably identify and pursue recourse claims
- Collaborate with other Simpego teams, external customers, and external service providers
- Actively contribute knowledge and experience to claims projects
- Pursue professional development and continuously learn about new topics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ideally, completed training in insurance
- Experience in personal injury claims
- At least three years of experience handling claims
- Strong customer focus and a hands-on mentality
- Willingness to work in a small, goal-oriented team
- Intrinsic motivation and a solution-oriented approach
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Versatility and flexibility
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Willingness to engage with new technologies and solutions
- Very good German and French skills
- Italian and/or English skills are an advantage
