About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain the Firm’s knowledge management products, including document repositories and the experience management system
- Enter new records, clean up data, research and complete missing information, and resolve discrepancies in knowledge resources
- Work with the Knowledge Resources Manager and Knowledge Specialists to ensure record integrity
- Develop deep knowledge of the practice intelligence system
- Configure fields, reports, workflows, and triggers for data collection under the Knowledge Resources Manager’s direction
- Complete data entry for new records, including client profile pages
- Research Firm matters to locate missing information or verify data
- Cross-reference data to ensure accuracy, avoid duplication, and resolve discrepancies
- Upload and maintain document repositories with relevant metadata
- Build SharePoint sites, pages, and libraries to display practice content
- Monitor the Knowledge Management Resources inbox and respond to attorney requests, escalating when required
- Support “how to” and technical questions for KM resources
- Enter client data into client-facing proprietary tools
- Support special projects and perform other duties assigned by knowledge management leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 2 years of relevant experience required; law firm Knowledge Management preferred
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive matters in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of SharePoint and iManage preferred
- Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical skills and aptitude
- Sound judgment with respect to confidential and sensitive information
