About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan and execute functional, regression, API, and end-to-end (E2E) tests.
Build and maintain test document datasets covering different layouts, languages, quality levels, and edge cases.
Automate API tests using REST Assured, Postman, or pytest.
Automate UI tests using Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent technologies.
Validate asynchronous workflows involving queues, Kafka, reprocessing, and failure or timeout scenarios.
Report defects with supporting evidence and quality metrics.
Participate in refinement sessions and support the definition of test strategies.
Track quality metrics related to data extraction and AI models, including field-level precision and recall.
Work with OCR and Artificial Intelligence solutions focused on data validation and extraction.

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3 years of QA experience.
Experience automating tests with Python/pytest or Java/JUnit.
Experience testing REST APIs.
Basic SQL knowledge.
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipeline integration.
Experience with E2E testing for web applications using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
Ability to design test cases for non-deterministic, LLM-based systems using tolerances, semantic comparisons, and acceptance thresholds.
Familiarity with Kafka, messaging, and processing queues.
Knowledge of AWS, including S3 queries and monitoring through CloudWatch.
Understanding of AI quality metrics such as accuracy, F1 score, and hallucination rate.
Experience with performance testing using k6 or JMeter.
Experience working on OCR, document processing, or sensitive-data projects in compliance with Brazil’s LGPD.
