Key responsibilities & impact

Define and evolve testing strategies for enterprise applications and products
Lead test automation, validation, and execution initiatives
Develop QA frameworks, accelerators, and best practices
Implement automation for Web applications, APIs, and microservices
Plan and execute functional, exploratory, integration, and non-functional testing
Establish performance, load, stress, and resilience testing strategies
Support squads with a focus on quality, reliability, and observability
Use AI to generate scenarios, analyze coverage, and optimize testing
Define quality metrics, standards, and governance
Establish and evolve test factories, supporting the development and maturity of QA teams
Drive continuous improvement across software development and delivery processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced or fluent English for professional communication
Experience defining testing strategies for complex systems
Strong background in test automation and Quality Engineering
Experience establishing or leading test factories and QA teams
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe)
Knowledge of requirements, test, and defect traceability
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Xray, Zephyr, or TestRail
Experience automating tests for Web applications, APIs, and microservices
Experience in Performance Engineering using tools such as k6, JMeter, Gatling, or similar technologies
Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with distributed architectures and microservices
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
Hands-on experience applying Generative AI to Software Quality, including test generation, synthetic data, and results analysis
Experience with at least two of the following languages: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#
Preferred qualifications: Security Testing (SAST, DAST, and IAST); OAuth2, JWT, RBAC, and ABAC; SQL and NoSQL databases; Brazil’s LGPD and data anonymization; FinOps applied to QA environments; Developer Experience (DX); intelligent test impact analysis
