About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with development and business teams to understand requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria
Create, maintain, and enhance automated testing frameworks and test suites
Identify and prioritize scenarios suitable for automation
Develop automated tests for web applications, APIs, and integrations
Ensure test integration with CI/CD pipelines
Conduct failure analysis, log defects, and track their resolution with the responsible teams
Keep test documentation, evidence, results, and quality metrics up to date
Contribute to defining and promoting QA and test automation best practices
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to software quality
Evaluate new tools, technologies, and methodologies to increase testing process efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in software test automation
Experience with Selenium, Cypress, and/or Playwright
Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, or C#
Experience with code version control using Git
Experience working with CI/CD tools and pipelines, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms
Experience creating, maintaining, and executing automated tests
Analytical ability to investigate defects and solve problems
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Experience working in agile environments
Nice to have: knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, TDF, or SAP BTP; experience with Cucumber; experience with Appium; experience with performance testing and related tools; knowledge of DevOps practices; experience testing APIs and microservices
