About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and execute functional, regression, and integration testing strategies and plans
- Automate functional, regression, integration, API, and UI tests
- Validate APIs and interfaces
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Manage defects and evidence using Jira
- Collaborate directly with cross-functional squads throughout the development lifecycle
- Work on strategic projects focused on quality, automation, and continuous improvement of testing processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience developing testing strategies and plans (functional, regression, and integration)
- Experience automating API tests using REST Assured, Postman, and/or Newman
- Experience automating UI tests with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Experience with unit testing and JUnit
- Knowledge of Java and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with Git and integrating tests into pipelines using Jenkins and Sonar
- Experience testing microservices architectures and containerized environments
- Experience managing defects and evidence using Jira
- Knowledge of test data and test environment management
- Experience with agile methodologies and working in squads
- Experience with performance testing using JMeter or Gatling
- Knowledge of contract testing with Pact
- Experience with mocks and service virtualization
- Knowledge of application security, Fortify, and vulnerability analysis
- Experience testing BPM processes using Camunda
- Knowledge of messaging systems and testing with Kafka and/or IBM MQ
