About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Architect, enhance, and maintain containerized infrastructure using AWS ECS/Fargate
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for multiple environments, including progressive and blue/green deployments
  • Provide infrastructure tools and resources through a self-service model, including pipelines, templates, and deployment permissions
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize AWS resources such as EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda, and CloudWatch
  • Automate infrastructure processes using Bash/Python and Infrastructure as Code, primarily CloudFormation
  • Work with cloud networking and security, including VPC, Route 53, Global Accelerator, and IAM
  • Establish and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and environment continuity strategies
  • Support incident resolution and perform complex troubleshooting in production environments
  • Monitor and optimize AWS service costs
  • Support data infrastructure design and organization, including RDS, pipelines, backups, governance, quality, and security
  • Collaborate with Data and Analytics teams to meet availability, security, and governance requirements
  • Support technical and architectural decisions and contribute to infrastructure evolution and the adoption of Cloud and DevOps best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid, hands-on experience with AWS in production environments
  • Proven production experience with Amazon ECS/Fargate
  • Advanced experience with CI/CD, including multi-environment pipelines and progressive/blue-green deployment strategies
  • Strong command of Infrastructure as Code, especially AWS CloudFormation
  • Experience with AWS networking, including VPC, Route 53, and Global Accelerator
  • Experience with security and access management using IAM
  • Experience with production environment observability, including metrics, logs, alerts, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with automation using Bash and/or Python
  • Experience designing and organizing data in cloud environments, including modeling, pipelines, governance, and security
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies
  • Familiarity with AWS cost analysis and optimization
  • Ability to work with technical autonomy and participate in architectural decisions
  • Preferred: experience working with sensitive data and security and compliance requirements
  • Preferred: knowledge of or experience with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and data protection best practices
  • Preferred: experience with AWS QuickSight or other dashboarding and monitoring tools
  • Preferred: experience with high-availability and mission-critical environments
  • Preferred: knowledge of FinOps, DevSecOps, and Cloud Governance practices
  • Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification or higher
