About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Integrate AI-powered workflows into daily QA activities
Develop and maintain scalable Playwright testing applications
Maintain and improve test software architecture
Work with Git in a collaborative, multi-engineer workflow
Partner with Product Managers, Feature Software Engineers, QA Software Engineers, and DevOps to ship features end-to-end
Support systems and products serving more than 3 million websites
Write efficient tests, optimize suite runtimes, and analyze test results
Develop tests for new features at a fast cadence
Share knowledge, challenge ideas, and improve engineering practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrated AI-leveraged workflow, including prompting, AI tools, and judgment in evaluating AI output
Solid grasp of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and testing strategies
Deep understanding of HTTP and RESTful APIs
Ability to break down complex problems and implement practical solutions
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience through independent research, open-source work, or technical writing
Experience with Playwright testing applications, sharding, parallelism, matrix jobs, CI/CD, and Git
