About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the client's day-to-day strategic lead and primary strategic point of contact
- Translate client sales and business goals into media, creative, and partnership recommendations
- Maintain knowledge of the Broadway/live entertainment market, including competitive shows, market trends, and audience behavior
- Manage the end-to-end client relationship, including budget management and pacing
- Coordinate with the client's external creative agency partner
- Build detailed budget breakdowns and deliver biweekly pacing reports
- Ensure media invoices are paid before media runs
- Direct media strategy with internal media resources
- Manage and develop two Account Executives through one-on-ones and growth planning
- Provide quality oversight of production and project execution
- Report to the VP, Accounts
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of account management experience in advertising, marketing, or a related agency environment, including both digital and traditional media
- Experience managing client relationships for entertainment or live experience-based brands (Broadway experience a plus)
- Demonstrated ability to translate client business/sales goals into marketing strategy
- Experience managing and developing direct reports
- Strong budget management skills, including pacing reports and media billing processes
- Experience coordinating with external partner agencies or vendors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
