About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and deliver secure digital solutions in highly secure environments
- Provision and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Services, App Services, Storage Accounts, and Virtual Networks
- Orchestrate and scale containerised applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Instances (ACI)
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and identity management via Microsoft Entra ID
- Manage network security groups (NSGs) and firewalls
- Monitor system health, uptime, and logs using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Support deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Audit resource usage to right-size environments and reduce unnecessary cloud spend
- Work alongside engineers, architects, and delivery specialists
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years in IT infrastructure, cloud administration, or DevOps roles
- Strong proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI
- Networking knowledge, including VPN gateways, subnets, and DNS
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) preferred
- Must have or be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance
- Ability to solve complex technical challenges
- Collaborative approach and strong problem-solving ability
- Motivation to continuously improve technology design and delivery
