About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage agile projects using an iterative approach to delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business resources to ensure successful project delivery
- Manage forecasting, change management, and risk management
- Operate in complex delivery and commercial environments and manage delivery fluidity within strict commercial models
- Oversee deliverables from cross-functional teams, vendors, and business resources
- Foster open communication to identify cross-team development dependencies and risks early
- Identify problems collaboratively and develop actions/solutions
- Communicate with key stakeholders and present information through reports, dashboards, and slides
- Provide contract management, supplier management, and cross-organisation dependency management
- Make occasional visits to Herefordshire
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related fields preferred or equivalent experience
- Relevant certifications (e.g., APMP, Prince2, Agile Certification)
- Strong project management, risk management, and procurement management skills
- Familiarity with Scrum, Shape Up and Kanban profiles and methodologies
- Ability to manage all aspects of project delivery, including forecasting, change management and risk management
- Ability to operate in highly complex delivery and commercial environments
- Experience applying structured and agile methodologies (e.g., APMP, MSP, Jira, Tempo, Scrum)
- Contract management, supplier management and cross-organisation dependencies
- Market experience within the UK Defence & Security sector is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Must have or be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance
