About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain JEC facilities, including electrical and plumbing maintenance, painting, carpentry, and pressure washing
- Perform general custodial and janitorial work, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Perform landscaping duties, including mowing, edging, trimming, weed removal, planting, and fertilizing
- Maintain assigned tools and equipment used for cleaning and general facility maintenance
- Move equipment using JEC vehicles, forklifts, tractors, pallet jacks, and dollies
- Deliver materials to field crews during power outages, storms, inclement weather, and as needed
- Work with JEC employees to promote the team concept
- Perform duties according to established policies, practices, and procedures
- Perform other duties assigned to fulfill JEC objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to perform electrical and plumbing maintenance, painting, carpentry, pressure washing, custodial, janitorial, landscaping, and general facility maintenance duties
- Ability to maintain and use tools and equipment
- Ability to operate or work with JEC vehicles, forklifts, tractors, pallet jacks, and dollies
- Ability to deliver materials during power outages, storms, inclement weather, and as needed
- Availability to work outside normal working hours when required
- Ability to perform other duties assigned by the supervisor
- Must comply with established policies, practices, and procedures
