About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take operational and strategic responsibility as Branch Manager for the building construction and industrial construction divisions
Acquire new construction projects and maintain and expand existing customer relationships
Monitor and manage project execution with regard to costs, schedules, quality, and occupational safety
Plan budgets, control costs, and ensure the profitability of all projects
Lead, motivate, and develop an interdisciplinary team
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and construction industry standards
Work closely with internal departments and external partners, including planners and subcontractors
Further develop and implement business strategies to increase the branch’s market presence and competitiveness

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in a senior position in building or industrial construction, ideally as a Branch Manager, Senior Construction Manager, or in a similar role with equivalent responsibility
In-depth knowledge of construction execution, project control, and contract law, including VOB/BGB
Proven success in acquiring and delivering major construction projects
Entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical skills, and a results-oriented approach
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with strong negotiation abilities
Willingness to take responsibility and make entrepreneurial decisions
Good knowledge of construction and planning software as well as MS Office
