About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop Node.js backend APIs and services for strategic products and integrations
- Support the development of APIs consumed by other applications
- Contribute to the quality, scalability, and reliability of solutions
- Participate in the evolution of architecture, messaging, and observability using RabbitMQ, Datadog, and Elasticsearch

Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with backend development in Node.js and building REST APIs
- Knowledge of MongoDB and MySQL databases
- Knowledge of building APIs consumed by other applications
- Familiarity with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or similar tools
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog and Elasticsearch
- Understanding of sound architectural practices
- Familiarity with AI tools applied to software development, such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenClaw, n8n, or similar tools
- Academic or professional experience with Agile methodologies
- Eagerness to learn through challenging projects
- Exposure to distributed systems, high data volumes, and production troubleshooting
- Knowledge of API versioning and evolution
- Experience with technical documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI
- Understanding of API security, including authentication, authorization, and rate limiting
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with different teams
- Experience with TypeScript in a Node.js backend environment, using NestJS or Fastify
