About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Map reading consumption and format trends across the markets where Skeelo operates, taking a global perspective
- Monitor pop culture, social media, and the entertainment and publishing markets to identify trending topics
- Critically analyze the catalog, identifying gaps and opportunities to strengthen it in each market
- Define curation themes and concepts, such as galleries, banners, and keywords, to optimize title discoverability
- Conduct ongoing benchmarking and work in a data-driven manner, translating analyses into strategic insights with cultural sensitivity
- Partner with marketing, product, data, and publishing partnerships teams, providing strategic information on the market and new titles
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in the content industry, whether in publishing, audiovisual media, or other segments
- Strong cultural awareness and creativity to propose curation and content strategies
- Ability to understand complex business models and balance content strategy with business needs
- Comfortable managing multiple demands and priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with different teams
- Fluent English, with strong reading and listening comprehension for evaluating international content
- Intermediate Spanish, with a focus on reading and listening comprehension
- Editorial perspective, with experience in book editing or curation (a plus)
- Experience working with content from different international markets (a plus)
- Familiarity with Excel and AI tools in day-to-day work (a plus)
